Why Phoenix College?
Phoenix College’s geography curriculum offers courses spanning from world geography — both the Eastern and Western hemispheres — as well as a class specific to Arizona. Other PC geography classes cover the human use of the Earth, meteorology, and a climate and weather laboratory — where students get mathematical, statistical, and spatial understanding of climatological phenomena.
While our geography courses do not lead to any specific degree, PC does offer a multitude of courses to satisfy the natural science requirements or electives needed for a certificate or Associate in Science. Completion of our geography curriculum could lead to work as a researcher, data analyst, or instructor.
